        Unit9:When was he born?
一:教学目标
1,、理解并掌握本节课的新单词
2、能对别人的出生年月进行问答,如:When was he born?
He was born in/on…
3、能对别人的经历进行询问,如:When did he start hiccupping?
How long did he hiccup?
4、能通过谈论体育明星的成就,激励自己
二:教学方法
1、        口语交际法

How long did he/she…?   等句型的实际运用
四:问题导入
T: Did you watch the Olympic Games in London? Now that you have watched it, you must know many sports stars…
由暑假的伦敦奥运导入体育明星,更能激起学生的学习兴趣,引导学生参与到互动中来
五:合作互动
  (1b) 展示几张奥运明星的图像,提问:“Who is that?”引导学生回答,因为学生对明星比较感兴趣,因此对展示的图片会踊跃发言,再由叶诗文的照片,引入Unit9的标题:“But do you know how old is she? When was she born?”再引入1b 里的内容
六:展示交流
(1c)通过展现对邓亚萍的对话,让学生进一步接触新知识点,When was she born?She was born in/on…
引导Make conversations about Micheal Jordan, Martina Hingis and David Beckham,学生可以和搭档组织对话,然后叫三组起来发言
用多媒体展现关于乔丹、辛吉斯和贝克汉姆的对话,引导学生分男女朗读
七:巩固拓展
(2a—2c)由2a里的图片进一步导入新知识点,询问一个人什么时候开始做某事、做某事多久了:When did he start hiccupping? How long did he hiccup?
   引导学生完成2a\、2b和2c的练习
八:作业布置
Write down your favorite stars or players . When were they born and how long did they start their work?
九:板书设计
                      Unit9:When was he born?
be born:出生于
Question::疑问副词+was/were+sb+born?
Answer:Sb + was/were + born+in place/in year /on date
