甲：送别了2006年的最后一抹晚霞，

    After saying goodbye to the last sunset glow of the year 2006  ,              


乙：我们将迎来2007年喷薄而出的朝阳。  


    We are greeting the rising sunrise of the year 2007.


丙：今天我们在这里迎新年，唱心歌，


    Today, we are here to sing our heartfelt songs to welcome the new year .


丁：敞开心怀去迎接新的挑战，新的辉煌！


    We are here to welcome the new challenges and the new brilliance !


甲：看，阳光灿烂，那是新年绚丽的色彩!


Look, the bright sun is shining, which shows the splendid color of the new year!


乙：听，金钟朗朗，这是新年动人的旋律。


Listen, the golden bell is ringing, which shows the moving melody of the new year.


丙：踏着时代的节奏，


With the rhythm of the times,


丁：带着新年的祝福，


and the wishes of the new year;


合：让我们相聚在这美好的时刻。


Let’s get together at this wonderful moment.

乙：下面请                致新年贺词。


Let’s invite  Party Secretary Ms. Fang to deliver the new year’s greeting speech .


（一）


甲：（谢谢方书记）美妙的韵律，能激起了我们心中美好的回忆；


(Thanks go to Secretary Ms. Fang.) Fantastic melodies enable us to recall our wonderful memories;


乙： 美妙的韵律，能带领我们走进彼此的心灵，感受世界的美好，感受生活的美好。


Fantastic melodies enable us to have heart-to-heart communication, and enable us to experience the wonderful world and life as well.


甲：今天就让我们先在一段美好悠扬的旋律声中，欣赏由校合唱队带来的大合唱《少年自然科学者进行曲》《美丽的梦神》。

First of all, with the melodious rhythm ,let’s enjoy a chorus by our school chorus group called The March on Teenager Workers’Natural Science and The Beautiful Dreaming godess .

丙：中华民族有着五千年的悠久历史；民族文化可谓是博大精深、源远流长；


China has a long history of over 5000 years and her wide and expert


culture goes back to ancient times;


丁：是啊，弘扬民族文化，传承民族精神已经深入我们每个中华儿女的心田。


Yes, to carry forward the national culture and spirit has been deeply rooted in the heart of our Chinese people .


丙：说到传统民族文化，我倒想问问你，在我们所学的唐诗、宋词、元曲中你对哪种最拿手啊？


As for the traditional national culture, I wonder which poetry writing you are the best at, the Tang poem, the Song ci or the Yuan Qu .


丁：相比较诗词曲啊，我倒是最喜欢我们的四字成语。


Compared with the poetry writing, I prefer the four- Chinese-character idioms.


丙：哦？那就请你给大家说几个来听听


Really? Then shall we share some of them ?


丁：好，新春将至，我祝大家一帆风顺，双龙戏珠；三阳开泰，四季发财；五福临门，六六大顺；七星捧月，八面春风；九运当头，十全十美


OK, the new spring is round the corner, I wish all of you…


丙：呦，这么多啊！还有吗？


Oh, so many, any others ?


丁：那就请大家欣赏由初二（3）班的戎姜斌，吴逸飞两位同学带来的相声《成语趣谈》。掌声欢迎！


Next, let’s enjoy the comic dialogue called Funny Talk  by Rong Jiangbing and Wu Yifei from Class 3, Grade 2. Welcome!

甲：解放军叔叔是最可爱的人！


The PLA men are the most respectable !


乙：解放军叔叔也是多才多艺的人！


And they are also versatile !


甲：去年由学校的共建单位91962部队的叔叔阿姨带给我们的两首歌曲仍然我们记忆犹新


I’m sure the two songs sung by our aunt and uncle from PLA Unit 91962 at the previous get-together remain fresh in our memory.


乙：今天他们又为我们送来了精彩的节目。


Today, they are going to give us another wonderful performance.


甲：下面请欣赏由91962部队为我们表演的小合唱《你到底爱谁》《生命之巅》掌声欢迎！


So coming up next will be their chorus called Who on Earth You Love and The Peak of Life. I suggest giving them our warmest applause!

乙：与我们每周的校班会一样，解放军叔叔们每周也要开他们的班务会，你们瞧，他们今天的班务会又开始了


Similar to our weekly school or class meeting, the PLA men have their weekly squad meetings as well .Look, it’s time for their routine squad meeting again.


（五）


丙：青春是那么的火热，那么充满激情，犹如夏日的天空，总是高远而明丽。


The youth is so fiery and so inspiring just like the high and bright sky in summer.


丁：青春是那样的朝气蓬勃，我们将用欢乐来尽情演绎。下面请欣赏由校舞蹈队带来的现代舞《happy happy》。


The youth is so vigorous , so we should embody it with as much happiness as possible. Well, what about watching a modern dance “happy happy” by our school dance group ?

甲：新春到，腊梅放，


The new spring approaches and the wintersweet comes out


乙：铃儿响叮当,共渡好时光。


The bell is ringing , and we’re having a nice time.


甲：下面请欣赏女生三重唱《踏雪寻梅》，演唱：丁以玲  左添  蒋黎园   伴奏：王尔昱


Next, let’s enjoy the girls’trio called Searching Wintersweet in the Snow .Performed by Ding Yiling, Zuo Tian and Jiang Liyuan. Instrument accompanist: 王尔昱

丙：武术作为我们中华民族的  宝，受到了越来越多人的喜爱，如今，它已经走出门，走向了世界。今天我们请来了兄弟学校江湾中学的武术队，他们将给我们带来精彩的武术表演。大家掌声欢迎！


As our national treasure, Chinese Wushu has been popular with more and more people both home and abroad. Today we’re  honoured to invite the Wushu Team from Jiangwan High School to give us a wonderful performance. So why not give them our warmest applause ?

丙：江湾中学的武术表演真是振奋人心，气势恢宏啊，让人意犹未尽！


The Wushu performance from Jiangwan High School is really encouraging and fascinating .


丁：可是我校的有位同学也想上来露两手呢；


Oh, a student from our school also wants to show off himself ;


丙：怎么？我们学校也有一位武林高手？


What ? Our school also has a Kongfu master ?


丁：他不是一位武林高手，但却是一位器乐高手，请欣赏由初二7班林逸同学带来的长笛独奏《沙龙马祖卡》


No, he isn’t a kongfu master, but an instrument master. He is Li Yi from Class 7, Grade 2, who will give us the flute solo called沙龙马祖卡 .

甲：母校，多温馨的名字，


Alma Mater, what a warm-hearted name !


乙：是她哺育我们知识的乳汁，


It’s she who feeds us with rich knowledge ,


甲：是她献给我们成长的土壤。


It’s she who fosters us with sound environment .


乙：初三（４）班同学用他们飽含深情的语言，


Students from Class 4, Grade 3 with their affectionate words,


甲：向母校、向华初倾吐他们行将离别的感情。


Will pour out their feelings to Alma Mater --Huachu upon their gaduation .


乙：请欣赏配乐诗朗诵《献给母校的诗》。


So please enjoy their poem with music called The poem for Our Alma Mater.

丁：口哨是一种独特的艺术，而我校的校友陈振中先生是一位著名的民间口哨艺术家，今天，他将为母校师生献上《      》


Whistling is a kind of unique art. Today our alumnus, Mr Chen Zhengzhong ,a famous folk whistling artist will give a performance called _____ .

丙：我们是一群风华正茂的青少年，我们拥有花样年华


We are teenagers in our prime; we have precious golden age


丁：我们是一群朝气蓬勃的青少年，我们将珍惜我们的豆蔻年华


We are teenagers full of vitality; we’ll cherish our precious time


丙：在这样一个花样年华里，一群美丽的少女正在翩翩起舞


During the precious period, a team of beautiful girls are dancing with the melody


丁：接下来请欣赏由校舞蹈队带来的民族舞《吉祥鸟》


Would you please enjoy the national dance called  The Sound Bird  by our school dance group ?

丙：这真是一群美丽的鸟儿；仿佛把我们带进了一个美妙的森林世界。


They are really like a group of beautiful birds, who seem to lead us into a wonderful forest world .


丁：是啊，在欣赏了一段充满民族风情的舞蹈过后，   请听由初二3班沈紫安同学带来的一首歌曲《鳟鱼》。掌声欢迎！

Following the folk dance , let’s enjoy a song called Trout   by shen Zi’an from Class 3, Grade 2. Welcome !

甲：今天的舞台，是师生共庆、师生同乐的舞台；


Today we are on the celebration stage , which is a stage for both teachers and students;


乙：我们敬爱的老师们也和我们一起共歌欢唱，同迎新年的到来；


Our respected teachers will sing happily with us to welcome the coming new year;


甲：请听教师合唱：《红莓花儿开》《啊，朋友，再见》。


Please enjoy the teachers’ chorus : The blossoming Plum and Goodbye, friends .

丙；音乐是人类交流情感的语言，


Music is the language for mankind to convey feelings,


丁：华初管乐队是我校在市、区享有盛誉的乐队，


Our Hua Chu School Band enjoys great popularity in Hongkou District and Shanghai.


丙：而且他们屡屡在全国、全市的比赛中获得金奖。


And they have been awarded citywide and nationwide Gold prizes several times.


丁：今天他们将为我们演出两曲《音乐会序曲》《北京喜讯到边寨》


Today they will perform two pieces of music called Prelude to Concert


and Good news from Beijing to the Frontier Fortress .


甲：踏着青春的节拍，我们向春天走来，


With the pace of the youth, we are approaching to spring,


乙：万物在漫天风雪中欣然等待。


All things on earth are waiting in the wind and snow joyfully.


丙：激扬着青春的风采，我们向春天走来，


With the graceful bearing of encouraging youth, we are approaching to spring,


丁：万物在翘首期盼中安然舒怀。


All things on earth are waiting in the comfort and peace anxiously.


甲：一路欢歌，一路笑语，


With happy songs and laughter all the way,


乙：走进春天，走进蓬勃的希望，


We are approaching to spring which is full of great hope ,


丙：走进春天，走进时尚的动感地带，


We are approaching to spring which is full of moving fashion.


丁：祝愿在座的每一位同学，


We wish everyone present


合：新年快乐、万事如意！


A happy new year and the very best of luck in everything !


甲：祝愿我们共同的家园——新华初


We wish our Alma Mater ,our common home –New Huachu


合：明天会更好！


will have a brighter future !
